His first love was and remains Major League Baseball. He has played fast-pitch softball since 1984 and is currently the head coach of the West-Mont Christian Academy softball team. Steve and his co-host Bob Laird had a successful three-season run on PCTV with the NASCAR based series Inside The Winner’s Circle, a program they mutually agreed to terminate to pursue other interests. For Steve, that meant a career change to youth ministry, something he has had the honor of doing since 1999.
